Yankee Stadium Concept

Before 1976 there was no Monument Park; I wanted to recreate the left field bleachers as closely as possible to the original stadium; A park outside the stadium
provides an open park-like feeling, unlike the new stadium which crams the park into a small space under a restaurant.

Scoreboard: The scoreboard is a 90 ft by 40 ft HD screen and is relocated back to its original position in right center field.  The board is topped by
two Longines
analog clocks (one facing inside and one facing the outside of the stadium).

Seat colors:  I wanted to capture the flavor of the 1950s stadium, so I chose a color close to the sea-foam green used at that time.  Note I said "close"--I actually
wanted a color slightly more toward the blue side than the old stadium's seats.

Frieze: I wanted a frieze that was more ornate and detailed than the new stadium's version.  I also wanted it to have a light-green patina, as well as adding, or
restoring, the ornate greened -copper end caps.

Other features: Limestone facade like the new Yankee Stadium; Upper limestone concourse wall restored as in original stadium; In-play flagpole in deep center
field; Two-level pressbox; 75 luxury suites; 10 party suites; 2 public restaurants and 2 private clubs; Spacious concourses; Food courts on each level; Bullpens
restored to their original positions in right and left field; large cantilevered roof covering 2/3 of the upper deck;  Ads on back wall of bleachers are color-blended in
"stadium green".
